Russia continues down a path of defiance, in spite of world condemnation for it’s recent military action against Georgia...
Ezekiel 13:10 “Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace - and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar - 11 say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down.
Russia test fired a new missile last night that is capable of delivering a 550 kiloton nuclear warhead, up to 6,125 miles away. The weapon has enough power to devastate anything within a 14-mile radius. The missile reportedly struck it’s target with a high degree of accuracy. The missile traveled almost 4,000 miles to a target on the Kamchatka peninsula. The missile has a “stealth” design, to aid in avoiding defense systems. The missile’s range puts the UK in the target zone. British Foreign Secretary Miliband, stated that the Russian action in Georgia, has brought an end to peace in Europe. The UK has cancelled a joint military exercise with Georgia, that had been planned for September. Russia threatened that such actions could be tantamount to a declaration of war. British Foreign Secretary Miliband, stated that Russian actions in Georgia and elsewhere, threaten to undermine the stability in Europe. Miliband was on a diplomatic visit to the Ukraine. He stated that the trip was intended to show support for that democratic country and not to provoke Russia and that if Russia wanted respect and influence in Europe, then Russia needed to change course. Georgia is cutting all diplomatic ties with Russia and has issued a recall of it’s diplomats from Moscow, due to the Russian military presence in Georgia. Russia stated that the move would hinder relations. Georgia is upset that Russian troops still occupy Georgian territory.
